Health Guarantee:
Seller guarantees the health of said dog upon pick-up from our home. The dog comes to you with a record of vaccinations. We recommend that you take the dog to your own veterinarian within the first 72 hours (at the Buyer’s expense). Quarantine the dog during this time and follow the advice of your own veterinarian. You or your veterinarian shall report to Seller any medical problems discovered within this 72-hour period. If the dog is found to be of unsound health by a licensed veterinarian, the dog will be returned to the Seller and the Buyer may request a refund. A medical report signed by the examining veterinarian must be provided to the Seller prior to the issuance of a refund. The Seller will not issue a refund on any dog that has not received adequate or appropriate veterinary and personal in-home care from Buyer. All puppies purchased must be taken to the Buyer's veterinarian within the first three (3) days after receiving the dog, proof must be provided within 10 days by mail or fax. If this is not done, the health guarantee becomes invalid and Buyer assumes all responsibility for the health of the puppy.

(It should be noted that diarrhea is common among puppies that have been moved to a new environment. This is normal and is not covered under the health guarantee. This will normally subside as the puppy gets used to its new home and surroundings.)

It is necessary for the Buyer to complete the schedule of inoculations on-time in order to protect the puppy's health, and for the guarantee to remain valid. We recommend that you consult your veterinarian early about the prevention of heartworms in your puppy. It is expected that the Buyer will have yearly exams for the puppy including heartworm detection, fecal examinations, and all vaccinations required by your veterinarian. We Prevaccinate with two Sets of Shots #5's to better insure the puppy health but they will need more.

If within the first year of the puppy's life, it is found to have a life-threatening congenital defect, send a detailed letter of explanation from your licensed veterinarian as to the nature of the defect and how it was found. Breeder must be notified at once at the onset of the problem. Breeder's veterinarian will interpret the report and if he concurs, Unsound health shall be defined as any condition which is a congenital birth defect and is life threatening. This shall not include skin conditions, viral infections, bacterial infections, parasites, or worms. Buyer understands that dogs commonly contract various types of infections through a variety of means including contact with other dogs or contaminated areas. Buyer understands that a dog’s immune system may be affected by recent vaccinations, which may also predispose a dog to infection. Buyer understands that a dog is a living organism that is daily exposed to stressors and potentially harmful microorganisms in the environment. Furthermore, a change in living environment, companions (animal or human), food, etc… such as when the puppy goes to a new home, may also cause a temporary high-stress situation that predisposes the puppy to illness. Buyer understands all these risks and is willing to accept full responsibility for the dog, in the condition it is in on the date of pick up, and for any health problems that may arise in the near or distant future. A puppy with a defect must be returned with specified problem to qualify for a replacement puppy. If within the the puppy's LIFE TIME, it is found to have a life-threatening congenital defect, 50% off a replacement puppy. Registration of the puppy, and the puppy must also be returned, any problems devolped by weight, such as hip issues, or other life style devolped issues are not covered.

Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury, over feeding, underfeeding and does not have up to date records of vaccinations are not covered under this guarantee.

A returned puppy must be returned to the breeder in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the buyer's expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the breeder.

There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e allergies, thyroid dysfunction, mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. Minor defects that are of little consequence for the puppy's health are not covered. Such as: a minor under bite, over bite, hernia. Hypoglycemia is not covered, which accrues when they have been subjected to STRESS. The stress usually causing this condition is: 1-Over-handling young puppies and not letting them get enough rest and sleep. 2-A puppy refuses to eat for over a period of 8 hours due to change of home and/or food. 3-Exposure to low room temperatures for a period of time or sleeping in drafts.

All veterinarian charges, incurred by the purchaser, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and will under no circumstances be paid by the breeder, including all spay or neuter charges.

The breeder guarantees a healthy companion pet, but does not guarantee adult size, color, and temperament. Nor does breeder guarantee for breeding.

Please be advised that until your puppy has had its full set of inoculations, it is susceptible to certain illnesses, and therefore should be kept out of areas where other dogs (and other animals) have been. This would include parks, pet stores, and even neighbors' yards. While at the vet, keep your puppy on your lap or in a kennel, away from other animals. When your veterinarian tells you the shots are complete and your puppy is immune, you can then begin to "show off" your new family member.

Micro-Chipping & Re-Homing:
We strongly suggest that the Buyer microchip the Dog as soon as feasibly possible and update the information on the chip upon any address change to cover loss or theft of your new pet. Buyer agrees to advise Seller prior to selling or re-homing the dog so that Seller may maintain contact with the Dog’s current owner to answer questions and/or address concerns they may have. Buyer will advise the Seller if a situation should arise in which Buyer is unable to keep the dog. DO NOT SHELTER OUR DOGS! WE WILL ALWAYS TAKE THEM BACK INTO OUR HOME AND FIND A GOOD HOME FOR THEM.

Deposits / Purchase Price / Refunds:
To reserve a puppy, an Initial Deposit of $500.00 is required. There shall be no refund of the Initial Deposit, Purchase Price, Priority Pick Deposits, or other costs, except as outlined in the section describing the Health Guarantee. Failure to pick up your puppy by the Latest Pick Up Date will mean forfeiture of the Initial Deposit and all rights of the Buyer to adopt the Dog as contained in this contract.
